Anicas Anzac poster

This week we have been learning how to make meaning and connections to the text because some of these stories are very relatable

For this activity we had to make a canva poem about anzac

We did this so that we can remember who ever fought in the anzac war

I enjoyed  designing the canva slides because i love being creative

I found it challenging to get ideas because anzac can mean a lot of things

Next time I would change the whole thing so that i could get new ideas.

Anica Ancient Canoe Discovery

This week we have been learning how to identify important information and relate it to the overall message or idea in a text because since we are learning about the first chinese gold miners we need to know this so we can understand the text.

For this activity we had to 

Read a book then do complete a response to text then we had to do one of the kiwi kids news witch i picked the canoe discovery then we either had to do vocabulary or complete slides.

We did this so that we could learn more about how to  identify important information and relate it to the overall message or idea in a text 

I enjoyed the part where we could choose witch one we would do indeed of only having one option… because it was really fun having to choose

I found it challenging to get the right words for the response to text but next time i will try to listen extra hard.

Next time I would change my design of where i would be sitting so that i can focus more.
